Pregnancy

You can eat mangoes in moderation during pregnancy. They are high in vitamin C and may help relieve morning sickness, are good for haemoglobin prodcution, and fight indigestion. But because mangoes are very high in sugar, do not eat too much.

Postpartum

You can eat mangoes in small quantities during your confinement period. A good energy and immunity booster, these fruits are quite high in sugar, so watch the quantity you eat.

Breastfeeding

Go ahead and eat delicious mango while breastfeeding. Great for your skin and hair, mango also is full of fibre to help relieve constipation woes. Just go slow on how much you eat due to the high sugar content in mango.

Baby

You can give baby mango in small quantities at around 8 months of age. Due to its high fibre content, mango may result in loose bowel movements in your baby if he/she overeats.
