Chicken Lettuce Wraps 🍗🥬

Ingredients

  • 3 tbsps hoisin sauce
  • 2 tbsps low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsps rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup canned water chestnuts, drained and sliced
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Large leafy lettuce (leaves separated), for serving

Steps

  1. Para sa sauce: Sa maliit na bowl, i-whisk ang hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice wine vinegar, sesame oil at Sriacha (kung gusto mong maanghang)
  2. Sa malaking skillet sa medium high heat, initin ang olive oil. Idagdag ang onions at lutuin hangang malambot, mga 5 mins. Tapos ihalo ang garlic hangang mabango, mga 1 pang minuto. Idagdag ang ground chicken, at lutuin hangang may kulay at ipaghiwalay ang meat na gamit ang wooden spoon o spatula.
  3. Idagdag ang sauce at lutuin ng 1-2 mins pa hangang mag-reduce ang sauce ng konti at luto na ang manok. Turn off ang heat, at ihalo ang chestnuts at dreen onions, season ng salt at pepper.
  4. Spoon rice, kung isasama, at isang large scoop ng chicken mixture sa lettuce leaf.
