Ingredients

  • 250 g ground pork.
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2 bundles Malunggay leaves, roughly chopped
  • 1 kinchay leaves, cut into slits
  • 1/8 tsp sugar.
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1/8 cup carrots, grated
  • 1 egg, medium
  • Siomai wrapper
  • Salt and pepper

Steps

  1. Put the ground pork inside a bowl then put carrots, garlic, onion, salt, pepper, and sugar.
  2. Mix the Malunggay leaves, onion leeks, sesame oil and egg to serve as binder or to make the ingredients stick together.
  3. Form the mixture into balls then wrap each ball with Siomai wrapper.
  4. Place them in the steamer and steam for about 25-30 minutes.
