Butternut Squash and Pear Puree

Ingredients

  • 1 large butternut squash , peeled, seeded, and chopped
  • 1 juicy pear, peeled, cored, and chopped

Steps

  1. Steam the butternut squash for 12 minutes, or until tender. Add the pear and keep steaming for 2 more minutes. Remove from heat. Set aside the water from the steamer.
  2. Transfer the squash and pear in a blender or food processor. Add 2 tbsp water from the steamer. Puree until smooth. Serve.
