Ingredients

  • 1/4 kg (250 grams) pork, cut into thin slices
  • 1/2 tasang tubig
  • 3 kutsarang mantika
  • 1 kutsarang tinadtad na bawang
  • 4
  • 1 medium sibuyas na puti, chopped
  • 2 tasang shredded repolyo Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 piece boneless chicken breast, cut into thin slices
  • 2 tasang chicken broth (or water with 1 chicken cube dissolved)
  • 1 kutsarang patis
  • 2 tasang bitsuwelas, cut into ¼ inch pieces 1 medium carrot, cut into strips
  • 1 tasang sliced celery
  • 1/2 kg (500 grams) Pancit Bihon 1 kutsarang toyo
  • 1 bunch sibuyas na mura (green onion) sliced thin diagonally, for garnish

Steps

  1. Sa malaking kawali, maglagay ng kalahating tasa ng tubig. Ilagay ang thin slices of pork. Cook until tender. Set aside.
  2. Heat the same pan, ilagay ang mantika. Igisa ang bawang at sibuyas for a few minutes.
  3. Ilagay ang slices of chicken breast. Cook through for a few minutes. Ilagay ang atay at puso ng manok. Lutuin ng dalawang minuto. Add slices of cooked pork. Haluin.
  4. Pour chicken broth. Stir. Add patis. Bring to a boil. Ilagay ang bitsuwelas, carrots, celery. Cook until almost tender, mga 4 minutes
  5. Drain the bihon. Marahang ilagay ang bihon sa sabaw. Keep stirring. Add soy sauce, this will give the noodles a light color. Ilagay ang shredded repolyo. Mix well.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add more liquid if the noodles still look too dry.
  7. Sprinkle thin slices of green onion on top. Serve with calamansi sliced in half.
